To strengthen our COVID-19 response and protect residents’ health and safety, Yuexiu District will conduct a district-wide COVID-19 testing on all residents on April 28. We hereby notify you of the details as follows:
1. Test scope:All residents in Yuexiu District (including local permanent residents, temporary residents, transients, foreign nationals, etc.).
2. Please follow the instructions of the community staff and take the test in your allocated time slots at the designated point. This testing is universal and should cover every household and every individual.
3. If you have a yellow health code, please go to the testing site for yellow code holders.
4. Please wear a mask, bring your mobile phone, and get your Guangdong COVID-19 Testing 2 (Yuehesuan 2) QR code (for mass testing) ready for a faster on-site verification process. Senior residents and children who do not have a smartphone may get a QR code on their family members’ devices.
5. Please check your temperature, health code, and itinerary card before you head to the testing site. In case of any abnormities, you should self-isolate and report to your community staff immediately.
6. Please follow social distancing of one meter. Stay in queues and do not gather. Please follow the staff’s instructions while you enter and exit the testing site.
7. If you have taken a COVID-19 vaccination shot within the past 48 hours, please do not take the test until the 48 hours have elapsed. Please, report this information to your community staff.
8. Please refrain from traveling or attending group activities before the test results are disclosed. If you have a fever or other symptoms, please visit a nearby fever clinic immediately.
To protect yourself and others from COVID-19, please cooperate with us in the testing. Failure to participate in testing will bring considerable inconvenience to life. You will be held legally liable if any serious consequences are caused.
