The 3rd Guangzhou Cosmetics Week, hailed as the "Canton Fair of the Beauty Industry," will take place from December 3 to 7. As one of China's most prestigious and large-scale cosmetic industry events, it will bring together global top brands, industry leaders, and trendsetters to highlight Guangzhou's role as an "International Beauty Bay" and demonstrate its innovation capabilities.
The event will feature six key segments: a high-quality development conference for the cosmetics industry, product launches, cutting-edge exhibitions, industrial study tours, brand showcases, and a beauty carnival. These activities will cover the entire industry chain, from research and development to end-consumer experiences.
The first two editions of the event drove over 1.9 billion yuan in investment and nearly 400 million yuan in direct consumer spending. It has established itself as a barometer for trends, an innovation hub, and a consumption hotspot within China’s beauty industry.
Guangzhou is China's largest cosmetics manufacturing cluster. As of mid-2025, the city was home to more than 1,800 licensed cosmetics manufacturers and nearly 7,000 registered enterprises. With an annual output value consistently surpassing 100 billion yuan, it leads the country in production scale, number of companies, and industrial chain completeness.
The city hosts a concentration of influential beauty brands. Global giants such as P&G, L'Oréal, and Unilever have established deep roots in Guangzhou, while local brands like Marubi, Runben, and Perfect Diary have gained prominence. Emerging names such as Liusimu, Simwood, Guyu, and Kangaroo Mom are also rising in popularity.
