I was born in Havana, Cuba with a pencil in my hand, then moved to Spain for about 2 years, where

I learned to play and love soccer. After Spain, I came upon the "land of opportunity", New Jersey, where

I graduated with a BFA from New Jersey City University and got some experience by working in several

small advertising agencies.

After learning that the cold weather just wasn't for me, I moved to Orlando, Florida.  I have worked for a

children's book publisher and packager where I was able to develop my skills in digital illustration.

For the last seven years I worked at Disney Design Group, designing and illustrating art for the

merchandise sold exclusively at Disney Theme Parks worldwide. One of the big projects that I have

contributed to was the grand opening artwork for Hong Kong Disneyland.

I have done freelance for many different markets, such as publishing, gaming, advertising, merchandise, etc. Although

I was trained traditionally, I now do all my art in Photoshop. Well, I sketch with a pencil, but all the color is digital.

I still love to play and watch soccer and I continue to be a Giants fan from my days in New Jersey.

One more thing I must admit, I do have a little bit of geek in me . . . I play chess.
